Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I cannot connect to the Internet - there is no connection at all through the Router the BB is working fine but cannot connect - it willl ping the Ip fine but not the next one as per below

    d) Type ping 66.102.9.104. If the ping times out then the problem is between your router and internet connection. If you get a response, move to step e)
    .

What do I do or change to rectify this - Im going insane!

You need to provide more information. Noone can help with the info you have given. Please add the following:

What model is the Belkin. (Belkins are muck IMO)
How have you it configured. E.g. Static or Dynamic IP?
What is the internal IP range.
What is your DNS set to. (This is most likely the problem. If you can ping an outside IP but can't get websites to open, your PC is probably not resolving addresses properly.)

    Thank you for the reply

    1. F5D733 - 4
    2. Configured to static and changed as per the IP assigned by Ice
    3. Internal IP range - unsure
    4. DNS - as per Ice assigned

Any ideas what could be wrong? As I said it is working fine when connected through the Ethernet port but when I go and try configure it comes up "Link Down"

I can't seem to find that model on the belkin site but anyway. Make sure the following is checked:
    • The Broadband connection is going into the Wan port of the router.
    • The Ice assigned IP and gateway IP is allocated to the wan port of the router
    • The internal range should be set to something like 192.168.x.x
    • On your PC (using a cable plugged into the Lan port of the router) assign an IP e.g. 192.168.0.10 and gateway is the router. If the router is 192.168.0.1 then this is what you set the PC's gateway address to.
    • Make sure you can ping the gateway ip address
    • Try using open DNS for the DNS settings these are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
