eircom downloads limit exceeded

right, i've read that eircom generallly do not charge for exceeding the download limit by a few gig here and there, but has anyone ever actually been charged ???

how much and at what level of over-downloading do they start to charge?

i've a friend who went 9 gigs over last month and is freaking out

i told him he will be fine as for a start eircom never updated the stats so they can't hold us responsible + they usually do not charge anyway or haven't been doing so as of yet.

there is no definitive response, that's why i am wondering has anyone been charged recently.

i can't see any post where somebody says "yeah i got charged and it was x amount"

Then they most likely were not charged. However eircom would be the best people to answer this question.

there is no charge yet, ive gone over by 20 a month

I think that you can rest assured that as soon as somebody is charged we will know all about it!
