Last ground frosts are in May on average here, inland like in Kildare I'd guess ground frosts are possible even in the first week or two of June.

Last air frost would normally be in May inland, in Dublin late April early May would be a good guess apart from coastal locations where mid April would probably be a good guess.

With global warming maybe a bit could be knocked of these already, but if its frost sensitive and you live in Kildare, wouldn't plant before late May.

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

Is this some sort of exotic grass?

Late frost is not normally an issue with grass seed but drought is (yes even in Ireland!) with the risk increasing the later the sowing.

I'd wait till after this cold spell and sow when soil conditions allow. The sun is getting higher and will heat the soil fairly quickly to promote quick establishment.

Wait until April and then sow when mild weather is forecast for a week into the future. Any Frost in late April/May should not be severe or long lasting enough to kill grass - which is fairly frost hardy anyway.
