That came together a lot better than I thought was possible.

You should have thrown in the moving statue shot as well though.

that didnt come out right...the camera cuts out for some bizarre reason and cuts back in just as goodshape is leaving the shot.

Aside from that we didnt have enough courage for the random waffle dialogue (though if I have the time I could do a credits and put the wafle over that) and we have no dialogue recorded for the o connell street one.

Good work guys. Thats a fine little film you got there.
Out of curiosity, what was the given theme?
And if there is a June one, count me in. Will be all done with college by then.

The June one will probably be run in conjunction with the Darklight Symposium.

Who has the pink sheet that detailed what we had to do?

Basically the theme was serendipity and random events.

Each film needed a voodoo master and our film needed a smile to ward off danger or misfortune and a mirror balanced precariously on a windowsill.

just thinking back at the weekend. it was a really messed up affair.


-We didnt get our theme till 8pm.

-I failed to convine anyone that I was Humanji, despite carrying a big metal box. I dont look like Gordon freeman enough they said.

-Me and Monkeyfudge ordered a block of melted cheese with breadsticks covered in grass at the bull & castle...it was horrible.

-we started drinking at 8pm and pretty much only stopped to sleep and film, turns out too much cider gives me far too much gas...much to everyone elses annoyance at the premiere.

-We ordered pizza at 2am wwhile scripting. It was covered in onions and was pretty horrible.

-Monkeyfudge terrified my housemate

-Buddha bag good

-Buddha bag big

-3 boardsie sleeping under the same roof = very little sleep

-Pancakes and chocolate for breakfast...heh

-really annoying musician at the molly malone statue wouldnt stop harassing us.

-Steak bagguette for dinner good.

-Only two team at the event took the theme seriously and they were pretty much the worse at the show (one was overly pretentious, and the other took everything too literal)

-Filmmakers are getting younger and younger.

-My top hat's appeal is very infectious and it might jump the shark very very soon.




a great weekend overall.
