Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Haha! Drown your sorrows fellas.

Edit: The youthful tigers are knocking Indias opening bowlers around. Tamim just hit consecutive scintillating fours!

I do hope that Bangladesh can win this one and that Ireland can follow suit!

Massive SIX from the 17yr old Tamim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [15 off the over] Tamim Iqbal now 45 off 47 balls!

Bangla 60-1. Iqbal just flayed Khan for a massive 6

I'd say it was Monty who went on a bender ;)

Paddy Power now have Ireland favourites.... narrow... 5/4 on versus 11/10, but favourites...

Tamim Iqbal is going nuts!!! Just hit another great 4!

Banglas 65/1 in the 12th over... minnows are redefining their reputation in this World Cup today.

I wonder is it raining in Kingston..... live pictures should have returned by now....

Rain will help the Pakistan bowlers (seaming, steamy conditions) if it continues...

Fifty for Iqbal, India not threatening

Play only due to start in 10 minutes according to Cricinfo.

It always rains in the afternoon in Jamaica. The conditions shouldn't deteriorate too much for Ireland's batsmen. Rains early afternoon like clockwork almost every day.

Report on Newstalk 106 a few mins ago said it had been raining for 20 mins

TV is back... and the covers are... coming off. Nice one. The pitch itself is just covered, the rest of the square is clear.

I've always been a big fan of Indian cricket, but I have to support the underdogs today :D

The Bangladeshi fans and players deserve to win... they really love this mad old game.

According to Cricinfo the Ireland innings will begin in 5 minutes.

Here we go. Eyes down for a full house :D

Lets hope Porterfield gets a good knock :)

Indians are at it again - terrible fielding, no urgency or nothing - I think Bangladesh deserves to win this match - hurts to say that, but I think they should.

    WICKET!!

    Sorry!

Bangladesh playing risky shots for no reason. 79/3

I hope Ireland don't make the same mistake!

Sami gets Bray LBW for 3..

    7/1

I really think that if Ireland can weather the fast bowling storm, they will get the runs...

The new ball has been the biggest problem in most of the WC games in this tournament so far.

Yep... if they can weather the first 15 overs without losing too many they should manage it.

Banglas have brought the target below the 100 mark... 98 to go

Tigers bring up 100 with massive 6!

the runs are no problem, it's staying in long enough that will be the issue. The ball is swinging and they are fast. a lot of near misses with edges..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,726 ✭✭✭✭DMC

Sami is bowling this over... not gone yet!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,726 ✭✭✭✭DMC

    38/2 off 12

Ireland require another 95 runs with 8 wickets and 38 overs remaining

Porterfield dropped and a looping one into safety to end the over.
