Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone used any of the dell laptops with the inbuilt embedded HSDPA chips?

While I don't own one myself, I've been told that these work very well. Just as good as an Express Card, PC card or USB modem, with the advantage of it being integrated.

The only real disadvantage is that it's not easily upgradable, meaning that when 7.2 Mbps and 14.4 Mbps HSDPA become widely deployed later this year, you'll be stuck at 3.6 Mbps. That being said, if you're somebody who upgrades their laptop every 18 months anyway, that probably isn't a big concern to you.
