Clouded over and started snowing again here in Carlow, and due to the lack of snow/rain during the day means the ground is relatively dry....so snow is sticking

Is snowing steadily now!

Not very heavy, but it's snowing! Sticking to cars and grass, but will be a while before it takes a hold on the roads and paths as it's been quite wet here today.

There was thunder and hail here a half an hour ago. Most of the showers tonight have been of wet snow and sleet. I'm disappointed especially when i read about Louth having a fair bit of lying snow. It all looked so promising in the early evening. This wasn't the way it was meant to be:(

Heavy snow and sticking here.Tipp and waterford should do well now within the hour but as for dublin area this is probably the last chance of settling snow tonight.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Just when everything was going so well here it starts sleeting and the lovely covering of snow we had for an hour is melting too.:( also the mets latest reports make for depressing reading with rain in knock:
