what way do you drive in the dark when it's snowing quiet heavy? Personally I find it easier to have wipers on intermittent, not to put on my full lights at all, (the snow is too bright then) and definitely don't have my front fogs on..

Like most Irish drivers I don't exactly have a heap of experience of driving in snow. But as visibility can be greatly reduced if the sno is falling heavy enough, I generally treat it similar to driving in fog.

In Ireland heavy snow generally comes in flurries, personally I think it's very important to be constantly re-evaluating the conditions, and as they change to flick between full and dipped beams to see what gives the best visibility. Something a lot of people seem to forget too is to keep your speed such that your breaking distance is always less than your visibility distance.
