Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

St Patrick's Athletic take their 100% record to Stangmore Park for the clash with Dungannon Swifts, while holders Drogheda United face a crucial tie against Glentoran at The Oval.

    Glentoran vs Drogheda United Home

Dungannon Swifts vs St Patrick's Athletic Draw

Drogs have to win, we need a point. Ndo and O Neill doubts so Rooney and Mulcahy may come in for a staight 442 rather than the 352. But is johnny mac so who knows :D

    :(

They playing a good game vs us and Maguire gifting them 2 goals isnt helping, we look like scoring again but if Maguire comes out for 2nd half we fcuked. Rooney also is crap and i would rather see Lynch come on for him as he does nothing but waste the ball.

Decent game so far hopefully we can break down a team that plays like this and see if JMC can manage.

Happy enough with a draw before the game but felt we missed a few chances to win the game.

    Still looking good for qualifying.

Should take care of them at home. Fahy's goal was impressive, not sure about him being a team captain though.

Cork won 4-0 which means they are back as the best team ever or portadown are really ****. If we beat Swifts next week and we tru be a matter of who wants to play Linfield away that decides the last 2 games.

Linfield won 2-1 pretty much winning that group and leaving Drogs with unenviable task of having to beat Derry and Linfield to go tru as Derry will beat Glens and then head to Oriel.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Cork go to Richmond and win. Group might not be all over just yet. Decent game on TV, at least they proved it's not a totally boring group. McAreavey a class act as per usual.

I have no doubt that the SPA flash in the pan will not last too much longer. A few lucky results does wonders for ones confidence.

I missed the game last night, but by all accounts, the first half was appalling, and Portadown werent much good. Still, a 4 goal rout is just what the doctor ordered, and hopefully the form will continue for City at the graveyard known as Belfield.

There was a lot to like about City against Pats in the 2nd game and I think City are getting into their stride now.

Could do with either HEaly or Farrelly in the middle.

But to have O'Flynn & Roy up front fit, we have the best front 2 in Ireland. Now, if they can stay fit all season then who knows?

Good game between Derry and Linfield. Dont know what to make of Linfield. They know how to win is how I'd class them.

Pat McCourt was sensational at times in the 1st half but disapeared in the 2nd half and so did Derrys chances of winning.

2 league titles 13 years apart is a flash in the pan.

2 weeks in and a Cork fan reckons they have best in league :D
