Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bikini for awkward body-shape

I've a habit of buying bad bikini's for my shape and would like to know if any people here could give me some tips.

I've a bit of a masculine figure, so far as I've quite broad shoulders, I'm flat chested and don't have curvy hips but I have a small waist so my waist to hip ratio would be around the perfect 7:10 ratio and I'd be about a size 10. If anyone can tell me what shape bikini top and bottom would suit me best that'd be great, I want to make my shoulders look more narrow and show off whatever curves I have. If anyone has any suggestions than that'd be great, I'm sure everyone has some problem like this about buying bikini's.

Really sorry if this is in the wrong forum (just in case.)

well, i wouldn't advise a halter neck top anyways as it will emphasise your shoulders. but go for something with triangluar shaped cups as it will give the illusion of curves. also, ruffled material and patterns can work well on boyish figures.
as for the bottoms, look for a high cut leg.
wikihow.com have an article about buying bikimis to suit your shape, but i can't access their site just now.
    hope this is some help.

ps. you sounds like you have quite good curves given you waist to hip ratio so maybe a padded top might be good for some oomph

Thanks for the help. I couldn't find anything on wiki for it but I'll do some web research anyway. I don't really understand how the high cut leg should work, I thought to emphasize curviness shorts/boxer-panties were used?

Maybe if you can't understand the Wiki guide, the best thing would be to go into a bikini shop with a critical friend, and just try on loads of different types. If you look at yourself in the mirror, you should know yourself if you like it or not. If you bring a friend/sister who knows you well, they'll know what you like, and will see what looks good on you, so they should give be able to give useful advice.
