A relative has offered me this car to buy, good condition, well maintained and low mileage around 24k.

How much should I pay? Looking for a fair price for both of us.

    Thanks

I'd say the car may be worth up to €17,000. Camrys are known for heavy depreciation and utter reliability.

Presume you know it will be expensive to tax, and probably hard to sell on.

    Not your ornery onager

Seen a 2003 Camry 2.4 litre manual with 40k miles for sale on a dealer forecourt last week, they were asking €17,995.

I think about €16,700 is a fair price in a private sale.

If it also has leather and is a good colour like silver, it's worth around 16,500 privately.
