Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nokia N70 - Ringer problem

    This is a strange one...

I live up on the hill in Sandyford...Only up here and nowhere else do I get this problem when my mobile rings...
When it rings it's ok for a few seconds but then the ring tone goes all messed up on me like a broken speaker kind of sound. It happens on all the ringtones on the mobile! I've only had the mobile for three months.

I know the ring tone has nothing to do with the signal but it only happens up here on the hill, anywhere else in Dublin it's ok.

I took the mobile back to vodafone and as I thought they looked at me like I'm nuts, as you would have guessed the mobile worked perfectly in the store... They sent the phone in for repairs but when I got it back the problen persisted.. Only up here on the hill I might add..

Anyone else suffer with this problem?

It happened to mine last week, was sitting in the car and got a call, phone was in my pocket, and it sounded like someone had poured water on the speaker or something. Working fine since tho so I never bothered following it up.

That is actually a better description of what is happening...

The bloke in the vodafone store did say that it is possible that the mobiles 3G is interfering with the ringer....
