    Hi Guys
I drive a 00 Volkswagen Golf GTI and when I switch on my lights none of them are working but the dashboard still lights up. I am thinking this is a blown fuse maybe as all of the lights couldnt go at once. I have located the fusebox just beside the steering wheel but I havent a clue which one to change as there is no manual to give guidance. Can anybody provide some hints?
    Cheers

There should be a small card on the inside of the trim panel that you remove to access the fuses - it will explain which fuse is which. There are two fuses for the main lights - one for right and one for left. I reckon it's more likely to be the bulbs that are blown.

without knowing which fuse is which, get a torch and have a look at all the fuses and see if you can see one with a broken link. Its normally visible through the clear glass section.

If you cant find it and get no luck here, then try one of the more specific VW forums like http://www.volkswagenforum.com/
