    Hey all...

we've an app (written in Java) which currently uses Sferyx JSyndrome HTMLEditor.

For one reason or another, we're not too happy with it. The biggest complaint is its table-handling is pretty poor.

Anyway...we're looking to change, so I'm looking for suggestions. Ephox seem to have the best alternative, but its horridly expensive. Another alternative would be to move away from an embedded editor in our app, but rather to interface with some external prog. Thing is that we don't want to generate HTML pages, but rather HTML "snippets" which will be included in pages.

    Anyone able to recommend anything?

    Cheers
    jc
