y'know the way loads of hotels, cafe's n stuff give free wi-fi access, is there a list anywhere of free wi-fi hotspots???

www.fon.com has a list of wifi spots throughout Ireland

Fon is not free unless you are running your own Fon hotspot though, although it is a lot cheaper than any other paid for access that you'll find provided by anyone else.

There is free WiFi in Shannon Airport, Dublin Airport and Adare Manor. But any hotels in Ireland I've been at you had to pay extra.

Most cafes too cramped & busy.

Re the Hotels - you don't have to pay for it in The Radisson or Clarion, I have been to both and they supply you with a wire and you can surf away.
That is in the bedrooms, not sure about in the lounge areas
