Which photo gallery system?

Hey y'all,

I am currently using Coppermine for my photo gallery. I have a number of contributors (10) to the gallery but at present I have to give all the users administrator access so that they can create albums and batch upload.

Obviously from a security point this is a disaster.

I am looking for alternatives.

Can anyone suggest a photo gallery system and why?

Either free or paid. I don't mind going paid if the features are right and if its value for money.

I have been tampering with flickr for last year and would like to develop it further.

Is flickr worth paying for or what about pbase.com?
