Basic question. I know cinema ... but when meeting up with friends Ive found its hard to meet up and chat in a place that isnt a pub. Just want to cut down on drinking. Well, kind of a pub, and kind of the cinema - but bear it in mind:

short films and such in a relaxed atmosphere.

Cafe across from the library in Rathmines and if your friends really must they can get a bottle of beer/wine whilst you enjoy some really nice coffee

Upstairs is nice and relaxed
