Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Guitar Hero II release date?

    Smyths web site gives today as the release date for Guitar Hero II, but the XBox official site has no date specified. Does anyone know if it's out today, and if not, when it is out?

    This is the Xbox board, he isn't asking about about the PS2 version.

    Ceejay, release date is April 6th IIRC.

    I can't wait for this game... play.com have it for €100.99... Any ideas what the shops will be charging?

    I play an actual explorer so I reckon I'll prefer this version, at least for the guitar aesthetically.

    I'll beat Jordan on expert if it kills me... or breaks the axe!

    Hmm, well, Game's website lists it at £70, which isn't far off €100.

    Whether or not the shops will charge near that, is a good question.

    Was asking about this over the weekend.

    Virgin: Not on their system.

    Gamestop: €110 (ouch)

    Game: Employee too mentally deficient to find out.

    Xtravision: Didn't get a chance... Funkyflea???

    I'll get it, but would like to do so for the cheapest price possible.

    No, not wireless. It isn't out in the US yet either, release date there appears to be April 3rd.

    No it is not wireless because Microsoft will not allow any other company to use their 2.4 wireless system.

    Ha, expert. I can barely beat songs on medium. For some reason I have a complete mental block on going from red to blue. I am terrible at this game.

    GAME don't get prices uploaded to tills until the night before (and sometimes not until the day after so you can't sell games on launch day!!!).

    I'd guess around 100 for it. Which isn't bad really. Have a few things to trade in anyways.
