Park Road WTF?

I'm confused. I drove over the canal from Corbally daily, and can see a new road being built to the right which is going to link up with the new bridge coming from Grove Island. The road which goes towards Rhebogue off the Park Road is being messed with and is closed at the moment. What is the plan?

They plan is to clog up Rhebogue now that Corbally is fully clogged up.
