Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking to upload my website to its host and need some FTP software to do so. I would have thought that Windows XP would have some sort of standard FTP software already installed, but after doing a search, it looks like that's not the case. Anyone have any recommendations for some FTP software that I could download?

    Filezilla is very good.

I think XP does do FTP through the explorer shell but if I remember correctly it's a load of arse. Filezilla has done the job for me, although cuteftp and coffeecup ftp are also decent. They aren't free though.

    you can ftp through ms-dos

    Better to use a program

like filezilla or smartftp both are free :)

I see that there's some FTP program in system32 on my XP OS. Runs from the command line. If I learnt off the few FTP commands that I'd need to transfer a few files, I'm sure I could use that to upload a small website to its host? Or would it be worth it just forking out for CuteFTP or sumthin instead?

H3LLg0d, sharing a full copy of cuteftp is warez
Any further discussions in relation to sharing any full license software (pay software) will lead to a ban!

    Have a nice day :D
