Barney wins Players Championships in Germany

    Barney won his third PRO Tour title of the season as he won the first tournament to be held in Germany. He beat Ronnie Baxter 3-1 in sets in the final.

    Mick McGowan lost in the fifth round to continue his solid, if not spectacular, start to the season.

    Beaten 3-2 by Terry Jenkins in the 4th round - Jenkins is imo the on form player at the minute, up there with Taylor and Barneveld.

    Hopefully Mick will get a good run in one of the televised tournments this year and maybe even win one...
