Reseting Service Indicator on VW

Folks, Is there any sequence for reseting the service indicator on a '03 VW Passat. I tried holding in the mileage reset, putting in the key and turning on electrics, holding the button for 15secs, taking out the key and releasing the button but it didn't work. Is there any other procedure or will I need to go to garage to…
