Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I recently was in top shop and bought this dress, when I got home I saw on the tag that it said swimwear on it. And now I was on the Topshop site and found it in the swimwear section,

It can still be worn as a dress?

That's gorgeous.. Looks like a dress to me.. I don't really see how it could be classed as swimwear tbh  ..

Looks like a dress to me. A lot of shops put beachwear under the swimwear dept to limit the amount of depts they have. Its probably light and easy to wear over swimwear so therefore put under the swimwear dept.

However you dont have to follow the tag on the dress- where it whenver you see fit not when it tells you!! :D

id say they mean it as one of those dresses girls wear on the beach, as in have a bikini underneath and wear it going to and from the beach

    depends on the material really

Just noticed that with sites like Asos and Shopbop. Sarongs, wrap-arounds and day dresses can be classed as swimwear. BTW, its gorgeous!

Chances are it's not illegal to do so (but I'd double-check with the shop).

I think its to wear over your swim suit or for those who like to cover up wear it in the pool!!

It's gorgeous, wear it anyway! The amount of people I know that have bought maternity wear by mistake recently in topshop is crazy, but it ooks good so no one even notices
