Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering if many people have used these new golf tees.
Only the tips make contact with the ball, so resistance is low. Low tee resistance means the ball can be hit cleanly, increasing your driving distance. All lift tees are made from a brightly coloured polycarbonate that is both durable and easy to find.
I started using them myself about 2 years ago.
I cant say I notice any difference in distance but the tees are extremely durable and stay in the ground after impact.
I used one tee for nearly 6 months ,never lost it and it never wore.

Does anyone really believe a golf tee impedes the ball?

FFS, the ball is sitting on top of a piece of wood or plastic and is then hit by a clubhead travelling at up to 100MPH. By the time the clubhead hits the tee the ball is gone.

I bought a couple of hundred of the Crown Tee's, same idea as lift really.
To be honest I only bought them as I was sick of breaking wooden ones, the problem with the crown ones is that they were going about 10 yrds off the tee so I was just loosing them.

Now I use the 75mm graduated ones, stick it in the ground and dont worry about height/depth.
99% of the time its there looking at me in the ground after I hit. Exactly what you want from a tee.

I think they are just a gimmick. I stick to the wooden ones too.

Unless I am using driver i just use some broken tee lying around as I just have the top of the tee out of the ground with 3 wood and irons.
