I am currently using broadband from a cable TV company called Broadworks.

Does anybody know what their SMTP server is?

    Thanks.

    nslookup
    set type=mx
    broadworks.com

    Non-authoritative answer:
    broadworks.com MX preference = 21, mail exchanger = mail.broadworks.com

Thats just their mailserver not their customers SMTP server (mail.broadworks.com resolves to a shared mailserver with a chicago based provider, More than likely that their site is hosted on a shared hosting account)
I'm guessing you have tried the possible suspects like smtp.broadworks.com

It looks like they are a reseller for Irish Broadband and have a firewall in place for our housing estate.

Port 25 seems to be blocked.

    Anybody else have this issue?
