Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

got talking to him after the wales game in mulligans on saturday nite he was in havin a few pints and i have to say he came across as a extremely nice guy didnt think he wud be so sound because never really liked his commentary on matches.he was extremely nice to everyone he was getting asked for autographs and photos every second but had a smile n chat for everyone.I have met a few footballers over the years but he was by far the soundest seemed like he actually enjoyed being hassled to jump up in down every few mins for photos and listened to everyones opinions on the game no matter how daft they were and there was some fairly mental theories as the night progressed.

Met John Aldridge three times, twice in Dublin and once in Liverpool and he is without a doubt the soundest footballer I've ever met. The time we met him in Liverpool we were in his pub 'Aldo's' and he actually remembered me and a mate from Zanzibar a couple of weeks before hand and kept sending free drink over all night. A true gent.

I met a pissed McGrath and he was an asshole.

I met a non-pissed McGrath and he was a gentleman.

He'll tell you the same in his autobiography.

I felt so sorry for him the time I met him pissed, but the fúcking asshole barman kept giving him drink. Being a proper suck-up.

Ray Houghton is busy getting all Beglins "fan's" , he must have studied 100's of matches where Beglin commentated as he is starting to annoy me more and more.
