Simple , Where can I get some ? Emphasis on the 'some' unfortunately because I actually need about 1m lenth of this stuff. The stuff I'm looking for is used in copper gutters as downpipes and has a diameter of 10mm or so but as far as I can tell it is quite specialised stuff because I cant seem to find it in any local DIY / Builders Merchants places (I am in Donegal btw). Does anyone know anyway at all of tracking the stuff down though only in the lengths that i want , a tall order I know , or perhaps someone might have the odd scrape of it about they might be willing to part with for a small fee. Any responses at all are welcome.

    Thanks,
    C_E

I'll move this to DIY. You should probably get more replies there.

If you're in Donegal you will know Lifford and if you were in the town you could call with Josie Gallagher who has a scrap yard - every type of thing in it - worth a shot. he could well have it but if he didnt he could point you in the right direction.

Dont have a phone no. for him but you should get him in the book - Post office Lane should be the address or else Ballyduff maybe

Great stuff, no need for the phone number , know the place well but the thought had never occured to me. I might take a wander on down over th'easter break.

    Thanks,
