Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Inspired by this site along with many other threads here on the subject of text message prices, i was wondering what the actual markup is on text messages compared to the networks other data services. so, taking meteor as my example;

    a 160 character message = 160 x 7 bits = 140 bytes

    at 9c per text, thats ~66c per kB

    compare that with 2c per kB for WAP, its a 3200% increase.

    A text message isnt sent in the same way as bytes are used in Data services like WAP etc, so you cant really compare them in markup.
