Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can turn off the journal.

    See

Whats the exact message you are getting?

It completely depends on the setup. Is this Outlook on a corporate network, or a home install.

If it's the latter, deleting everything will have no effect.

Go to File - > Data File Management
You should have an item in there called "Personal Folders". Double-click on it. You'll get a little dialog box appear. In this box, there's a button called "Compact Now". Click it. Outlook will freeze for a long time (anything up to 2-3 hours, depending on your machine). Leave it at it, and when it's finished, restart Outlook and everything will be hunky dory.

If you're on a network I'd advise creating a PST so that the limits set by the server won't apply to your Mailbox. However if your HDD packs up you've lost everything...

From within Outlook, right-click on the root of your mailbox, "mailbox - your name". Choose Properties, Choose Folder Size... gives you a detailed breakdown of where your space is going.

    IPB.
