Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dundalk look hot alright, they seem to be handling the pressure that comes with being favourites quite well, although I think Athlone might have a shout there yet.

6 goals, 6 different scorers! What a team. Young Williams has been the signing of the season. 4 games 4 goals and Man of THe Match almost every game. The relentless march back to the top continues.

    3-1 Pats

3-0 after 8 minutesnice hattrick for Quigley 2  made a not very entertaining 82 minutes, ref was a muppet gave Bray everything, sent off frost and gifted them the free kick they scored from.

Bray really had nothing to offer even tho they played last 40 minutes with an extra man.

Mark Quigley netted a fantastic early hat-trick as St Patrick's Athletic continued their unbeaten start to the 2007 eircom League of Ireland Premier Division season with victory over Bray Wanderers.

Mark Quigley netted a fantastic early hat-trick as St Patrick's Athletic continued their unbeaten start to the 2007 eircom League of Ireland Premier Division season with victory over Bray Wanderers.

Pat's started the game in explosive fashion and Quigley had killed the game off as a contest with less than ten minutes on the clock.

Quigley's first came on four minutes with a low drive after good work down the right by Keith Fahey and Anto Brennan.

Number two arrived on six minutes with a cracking shot out of nothing from 25 yards out on the left.

Quigley then completed his hat-trick after just nine minutes with a superb lob of Bray keeper Steve Williams from 20-yards.

Pat's were forced into making a change on 18 minutes when David Mulcahy replaced Anthony Murphy, who sustained a nasty injury to his right leg when he came off worst in a tackle.

Quigley very nearly made it four on 26 minutes with a low pile-driver from right of centre but Williams got down well to punch his effort wide.

Bray started to come more into the game after that and Gary Cronin tested Pat's keeper Barry Ryan with a looping effort on 35 minutes but Ryan made a fine save.

Mulcahy put Quigley through with a perfectly weighted pass after 36 minutes but Quigley sent his low shot wide.

Wanderers had a much better start to the second period and very nearly pulled one back on 55 minutes.

David Tyrrell sent an inviting cross into the box from deep on the left wing but both Paul Dunphy and Stephen Fox, who had eluded their markers, failed to connect with the ball and it floated into touch.

Pat's were reduced to ten men on 56 minutes when John Frost was sent off after he received a second yellow.

Keith Fahey could have got number four for Pat's on 57 but shot wide when Quigley was better placed in the box.

Alan Cawley got one back for Bray on 77 minutes with a free kick that cleared the Pat's wall and nestled in the top left corner of the net.

St Patrick's Athletic: Ryan, Brennan, Frost, C Foley, Fahey (Maguire 70), Kirby, O'Neill (Rooney 75), M Quigley, Murphy (Mulcahy 18), Ndo, Paisley

Bray Wanderers: Williams, Tresson (Cawley 53), Cronin (Georgescu 73), Derek Tyrell, Delaney, Fox, Gough (O'Shea h/t), David Tyrell, Deans, Duggan, Dunphy

    Referee: D McKeown
