A debate, the motion of which was "The PD's have failed the Health Service" took place last night in DIT Aungier Street. And despite the match being played at the same time, there was a good turn out.

The debate was co-organised by the DIT societies of the Young Progressive Democrats and Ógra Sinn Féin.

Cllr. Daithí Doolan, candidate for Dublin South East spoke in favour of the motion. Senator John Minihan, candidate for Cork South Central spoke against the motion.

The motion "The PD's have failed the Health Service" was defeated after a tense, passionate debate which was open to the floor.

Just wondering what DIT boards.ie contributers thought of the debate.
