Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Depends per team some Shels players were on 2 to 3 grand a week, highest paid Pats player is 1500 a week. Im sure Bohs Drogs and Derry pay more than that. Theres at least 7 Pats players getting 100 a week.

    400 a week plus their job or labour.


    and how much do the semi-pros in the first division earn ?

    One i know off was getting 400 off Dundalk last season in some cases its 50 but some clubs pay more.


    One thing you will never ever know the exact wages a club pays each player.

    One centre half at Shels is on 500 a week alongside a decent job in Dublin, being very injury prone his wage per match works out huge.

    Probably less than your average 'amateur' GAA county player gets in kick-backs.

    I know how much the Athlone players are getting.

    Athlone and dundalk have the highst wage bills in the first division.

    McTeirnan is getting about 600 a week, McGee 200, McDowd 250, Levine 350, Heffernan 350, Gavin 300, Byrne 500, harty 350, young 300, rossiter 300, Frawley 350, Sheridan 450, O'Leary 400.

    reservs are ranging from 70 (youth players like McCharty, Fallon and Russo) to about 200 for the likes of Carbury.
