Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whats this thing you's are all saying about the noise it makes? Is it comparible to the original XBOX coz that was pretty loud but i never really had a problem with it anyways

My reckoning is that it's as loud if not louder than the original, but I have a launch system which is the loudest 360, the latest models are supposed to be quiter, with better cooling and disc drive.

I've gotten used to it by now, and really don't even notice it anymore.

The ''new'' models that will be produced using the .65nm manufacture die cast process are not out yet. Which WILL be cooler and therefor the fans can run slower and therefor quieter.

All the ones on the shelves are still using the .90nm process same as launch day systems and are thus all the same in the noise and heat department.

I find it really loud. It does get drowned out by the game noise but it really is the noisiest console ever. Only the dreamcast comes close.
