Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Inbetween jobs for one week, can i get the dole

Im finishing my job on Thursday and have a week off before I start my new job the Monday week. Anyone know if I can claim the dole for that one week? I know its a bit scabby but feck it I pay enough tax every month so I reckon im entitled to some of it back? If so what do I do? 165 euro would be nice for a week of!

You would have to call into your social welfare local office to make a claim. however if you leave a job of yuor own accorrd without just cause then you can be disqualified for up to 9 weeks. Also you would have to be available for full time work for that one week, which is unlikely since you will be starting a full time job.
