Another buying a LCD question

    I'm in the same boat as so many people on this board,what LCD to choose.I am drawn to Samsung so more than likely will go with them.I'm changing my mind by the hour but came across this set this evening

    So is this a good set?Heres some requirments...
    1.I want a fairly future proof set,is this one?
    2.Will be used mainly for a PS3 (games and Bluray),DVD.Does this have "game mode"?
    3.Is 1080p worth going the extra few hundred euro as this set is 720p/1080i (I think)
    4.Is this a new model or is there an upgrade now available.I googled this set and can only find European sites,was it called something else in the UK?Want to read some reviews.

    This is the other set I'm thinking of.Its more expensive but if its worth it I don't mind paying extra.Is it worth 600 euro to go 1080p over 720p

    If you go to harvey normans you might get it cheaper Dont underestimate that place;)
