Pet food recall in USA

    There currently is a massive pet (dog&cat) food recall underway in the US (mainly for "wet" food) where a mistake in one basic ingredient manufacturers has led to recalls across a wide spectrum of brands, even in such "respected" brands as Eukanuba, Iams, Hill's, and Nutro

    Interesting to see that the cheapest supermarket foods are equally as affected as high value and supposedly "quality" brands.

    Yeah, they're blaming rat food, but apparently GM feed imported to the US from China may also be implicated, because an insecticide that the GM causes the plant to produce is present in large amounts in the dead pets.
