Excel Problem!

I've 2 excel sheets. One is a long list containing names with other details. The second sheet just contains a list of names. I need to be able to extract a sublist of the first sheet that match the names from the second. Is this possible using excel or would I need to write a small program for it?

You can do it in excel. Have a look at vlookup in the help file, that should get you started.
