the 'tough' shaved head look is a modern thing. all the little scrotes have shaved heads now. i think it makes people look like 18th century mental patients.

alot of 'hard' men would be too SCARED to have long hair, cause their mates would slag them off. hardly very manly is it?

i dont have either long or shaved hair btw.

I think long hair can perfectly manly so long as one avoids looking at like they belong to one of the two groups that have given long hair a bad name: Emos and Crustys.

I'm sick of people assuming that just because I have long hair that I'm either a) left wing b) a surfer c) a Slayer fan d) a stoner or e) a leftwing pot smoking Slayer fan (Slayer fans don't tend to be very good surfers)

BTW I may have long hair but I qualified for membership here coz my hair is starting to recede, not quite in Bill Bailey territory yet though

If you are over 30 and can have long hair I think it looks manly compared to a slap head or the shaved bald head.
You can be bald and have hair at the sides to shave. I have had paople I know claim to "just" have a shaved head and it is quite obvious they are bald.
