He's got good timing. The BBC weather said that the weather should improve after the weekend. I'm sure himself and his parishioners can then put it down to the almighty power. (Not power like He-Man, something different, more mysterious)

Why pray for an end to the rain?

Are they:
1. Asking god to stop being a dick?
2. Highlighting an issue they think god doesn't know about?
3. Under an illusion that it's raining because we're sinners? (Drought seems worse imho)
4. Adults who should know better.

Personally, I've been praying to the Sun God (Ra God) and the Rain God (Tlaloc), hoping they would sort out their differences. My garden plants and crops are in rag order. :mad:
