That's quite the compliment* assuming him to have a brain.
*Rob, how should I punctuate this?

i've replayed the moment at 1:10 where eric knows he's just got owned by a 11 year old over and over and over and over.

I never had such hope for the future of mankind as I had at that moment.

Edit: I should have put this in the 'Interesting Stuff' thread. Sorry, it's not terribly funny. I like how the action figures have the graspable hands, though: ever reaching in search of truth. :pac:

Interesting thing about Schrodinger, he was into polyamory but Eamon deValera still invited him over here to the Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies.

I suppose they chose to 'studiously' ignore his unusual lifestyle :pac:

Was told this tonight after the Bishop of Cork and Ross John Buckley awkwardly sidled up to a group of friends outside a removal (his cape blowing in the wind conjuring up images of Len Brennan).

Apparently when first appointed, he was known around Cork as the Fake Bishop. In order to connect with the youth of his new diocese, on weekend nights he used to stand outside the door of Sir Henry's engaging with the patrons as they were leaving. Everyone thought that he was just some madman dressed up as a bishop! But of course that turned out to not be the case...

As cool as that is I don't think Dawkins, Tyson and Kaku deserve to be there. Certainly not Kaku anyway.

Regret to say I don't know who everyone is on that list. Who's the physicist to the right of Tyson?

There is some dispute about Ada Lovelace's true level of involvement in Babbage's project :(

There is no dispute about Admiral Grace Hopper though. She invented 'debugging' and is described as 'the mother of COBOL'.

    But yeah. Need more wimmins.

Jocelyn Bell Burnell discovered pulsars, her prof was co-author of the paper, he got a share of a Nobel and she didn't

To be fair (and cynical:o) the more accurate Irish version for both would be:

    Taught to young children.
Told to learn this sh*t off.
Question it, but only to a relative degree, don't ask too difficult questions and certainly don't ask about stuff you don't need to know for exams.
    Don't really give a sh*t after that.
