A weird "magical girl" show called Madoka Magica. Basically, it flips the genre on its head and leaves you in the Hubble Deep Feels.

"One man has decided marriage policy for 315 million people. That is tyranny."

So much irony in that statement, especially coming from a Christian. God decided policy for the entire planet! :P

SFDebris is doing a review where he's 9 of the 12 episodes looked at. I'd link directly to the site except it's down with bandwith problems atm.

Actually, I am on an ale kick at the moment. If anyone spots Crafty Hen for sale anywhere please to tell me.

Haven't had an ale in months - got a couple of bottle conditioned Shepherd Neame 1698s.

Question is - does the sediment go in glass or not?

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

    Oooohhhh I don't know...

I did once get a lesson from an influential Irish somellier and restaurateur in the whole decanting red wine malarky - with the candle and all that. Bloody hell, half way through I wandered off as a) red wine always gives me a headache and no way was I doing this llenghty, and poe faced, ritual for someone else's benefit and b)F'uck it, life really is too short for all of that mucking about (that and stuffing a mushroom. )

So, that would be an ecumenical matter :)

Consensus online seems to be that English ales should have the sediment left in the bottle. Never had a bottle conditioned ale before. With weissbier, Belgian beers etc. then the sediment goes in the glass (but I already knew that ;) )

OK. Poured it just now - very little sediment in the bottle compared to a weissbier etc. Managed to keep most of it in the bottle.
    Mmm that's quite nice actually.

I'm seriously glad that we seem to be developing a bit of an ale culture in Ireland, my local even has guest drinks on cask, which can be incredible. I way prefer a place that has good craft beer and imports, there's usually a much nicer atmosphere too :)

Personal taste, really. I like it with some ales, not with some others.

Might be. Then again it may be a double entendre. Or it might be quite literally true.

    It's all in the context.

Rep. Michael Burgess (R-Texas) said Monday that abortion should be banned as early as 15 weeks after conception because he has witnessed male fetuses masturbate at that stage.

Pork-Laced Ammo Designed to Send Muslims to Hell

    Love it!

"With Jihawg Ammo, you don't just kill an Islamist terrorist, you also send him to hell," the company said in a press release earlier this month. "That should give would-be martyrs something to think about before they launch an attack."
