    I wouldn't blame Creationism for all these ills ... but I would credit the progress made to the modern high quality food production and medecine (which numbers within in their ranks both Evolutionists and Creationists). For example, a lot of historic infant mortality was due to disentery brought on by poor food hygiene and starvation.

    I will just point out in passing that no ID Proponent that I am aware of is a 'simple minded, right wing, fundamentalist religious fanatic'.
    They are all leading working scientists within their fields of expertise and many of them are are Old Earth Creationists and some of them are Evolutionists.
    Despite our differences on the Age of the Earth, I have the height of respect for their science and expertise and I don't think that this cartoon helps any cause, including the cause of Evolution.
