So do you actually see that the thread is about the Funny side of Religion or do you just read it however you want to read it?

Lets try this, I say "God does not exist"

do you read this as "God does exist"?

You may very well have Christlexia.
... there is every reason to expect that when I laugh at the stuff on this thread I may be laughing for totally different reasons to some of the other people on the thread ... but such is life ... and cultural diversity!!
... and if we are all laughing at the end, for whatever reason, isn't that good?

Laughing is good, the one man not funny, not clever running commentary however...

... can I post funny cartoons as well???
... or is it confined to Atheists?

I'd love to see a religious joke that was actually funny. The only funny ones I've ever seen are atheist ones tbh...

    This:

    atheism-is-wonderful.jpg

is not funny, it's just plain stupid and wrong at best...

    This:

    atheism.jpg

however is better and more accurate ;)

How do you use an iPhone to end arguments with theists?

    Option 1.
Take off your shoe, carefully remove sock, place iPhone in sock, swing in circles until iPhone v is as large as possible, take advantage of F=ma where v1 is large and v2 is 0 using theist's head as deceleration device.

    Option 2.
Same as 1 but use own head if you are a pacifist.

    Option 3.
Pretend you have an urgent call; text; facebook update; just put in your headphones and hope the theist gives up.

I do not usually agree with Islamic theocracies but Iran is onto something with banning the Tennessee tophat
Iran launches crackdown on Western hairstyles, Culture Ministry bans mullet, ponytails, long hair

GodBlock is a web filter that blocks religious content. It is targeted at parents and schools who wish to protect their kids from the often violent, sexual, and psychologically harmful material in many holy texts, and from being indoctrinated into any religion before they are of the age to make such decisions. When installed properly, GodBlock will test each page that your child visits before it is loaded, looking for passages from holy texts, names of religious figures, and other signs of religious propaganda. If none are found, then your child is allowed to browse freely.

I wonder will we see the majority of parents staunchly fighting to enforce this web filter along with the normal stuff they get
to shield their children's eyes from the terror of the internet & a lot of tv channels :P

Come to think of it: I'm surprised there was so much hubbub about violent video game's - yet religion class was mandatory in school :D

What if the bible had a load of thanks eh? :pac:

I'd accuse it of thanks whoring.

I'd read the usernames first. If they were the 'usual suspects' who thank every pro-Christian post in After Hours I would continue to ignore.

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

I assume everyone here's seen Sita Sings the Blues? It was released straight to the net, and made it as one of Roger Ebert's picks of 2009.
