Just got a bizarre ad on the side of facebook. The text read:

"Richard Dawkins digs pantheism. Athesim not enough for you? Panthesim adds reverence for Nature, Universe, Life."

I always click those. I like to think their money is being wasted on trying to convert me. I'd hate to see it being well* spent!

    *By their standards. :pac:

I see Jesus and Mo are at it again ...

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

I didn't find this that funny, but then I went to google trends and saw that it's actually all true.

In a story that cries out for a good tagline, a priestess in Canada has been rapped for feeding her god to a dog.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-10774706

Any suggestions for a better headline?

"Priest makes dogs breakfast of mass"
"Yu no like a rea priest"

Dating in the Dark is about people dating in the dark. With the help of a night-vision camera, and without risking arrest, we get to watch three boys and three girls go on a series of dates.

This is, as you've guessed, a very important social experiment, because although the dating exhibitionists cannot see one another, they form strong personal attachments and end up learning a lesson about looks and appearance and their importance when it comes to building a lasting relationship. What they learn is this: looks and appearance are very, very important.

"I came to Dating in the Dark with shallow views," explained Californian punk rocker Brandon towards the end of the programme. "And I still hold those views dear to me."

Or, as he helpfully put it earlier: "I don't date fat chicks."

Towards the start of the programme, Brandon had a conversation with Britney Spears impersonator Lorna.

"My stomach is fluttering," said Lorna. "There must be someone in this room that I really fancy. It must be you... or it could be a spirit... It could be a ghost.

    "What?" asked Brandon.

"Don't you believe in the spirit world and stuff," asked Lorna with surprise.

"No," said Brandon. "I believe in science."

"How could a tree be made by science?" asked Lorna, waving her hand as though speaking rhetorically (for this question clearly has no answer).

"Um. What about Darwin's theory?" asked Brandon.

    "What's Darwin's theory?" asked Lorna.

    "Evolution," said Brandon.

"Oh, that! We didn't come from apes!" said Lorna indignantly, and then paused to reflect. "I think we came from dogs. A human's brain and a dog's brain are much more in sync than a human and an ape. I think we came from dogs."

So after watching Dating in the Dark, I feel more strongly than ever that people should find love based on what's on the inside.

    Which is a dog, apparently.

So... If God is Jesus and Jesus' mother is Mary and God impregnated Mary with Jesus, does that mean Jesus bonked his Mom?
This is more messed up than the plot to Terminator!

I think an angel in the form of a dog humped Mary's leg & she got pregnant because of a light Jerusalem breeze that pollinated her...

It would certainly explain the virgin birth :pac:
