Roger Ebert is one of my favourite tweeters, and it's times like this that really show why.
Franklin Graham mocks Hindu's praying to "elephant with 100 arms." He prays to god for whom 100 arms are only for starters.
Urgent to Franklin Graham: Hindus don't have a god with 100 arms. You have a god with unlimited arms, or maybe none.
When you mock what another religion believes, check to see which side of the limb you're sawing off.

Right click on your image and select copy image location (in Firefox, it'll say something different in different browsers)
Paste the copied URL into a post and put before it and after it.

    [PHP]www.image.jpg[/PHP]

Alternatively click this button: insertimage.gif, and paste your link into the dialog box and it'll add the IMG tags by itself.

Great, but the religious response isn't "fuck you"; it's "they're invisible".

Lol, yeah, it should be fuck you, they can't be seen by your torch light. They can only be seen if you open your heart and let the dragons in...

You obviously haven't experienced the dragons personally ;)

I was in Anne Summers today, the O'Connell street branch, just having a look around with the missus. It was all fairly normal until, down by the fetish stuff, there was a woman - head to toe covered in a burka, trying to choose between a ball-gag and an 'under the bed restraint device'.

I turned to my missus and go 'that's mad isn't it?'
And in all seriousness, she replies. 'god, yeah. ...they don't even sell fake eye lashes here.'

Researchers in Hong Kong do some weird biblical medicine:
    Abstract wrote:
The Bible describes the case of a woman with high fever cured by our Lord Jesus Christ. Based on the information provided by the gospels of Mark, Matthew and Luke, the diagnosis and the possible etiology of the febrile illness is discussed. Infectious diseases continue to be a threat to humanity, and influenza has been with us since the dawn of human history. If the postulation is indeed correct, the woman with fever in the Bible is among one of the very early description of human influenza disease.Infectious diseases continue to be a threat to humanity, and influenza has been with us since the dawn of human history. We analysed a case of high fever that happened 2000 years ago in Biblical time and discussed possible etiologies.
And then a few weeks later, issue a grovelling retraction.

It's on PUBMED here and a PDF is here.

Hazards of belief thread tbh :P.

Also unfortunately the link doesn't work because it contains the word sh*t (Boards should know better than to filter URLs :P), so click here for tinyurl'd version.
