Lawnmower belts

Hello

I own a

"Chopper by Marazzini Ernesto S.p.A."

ride on mower. I need to get a belt for the mower which spins the blade around. You see there is a local guy who has the genuine belts for the mower for 50 euro, but they dont last long and he doesnt seem tolike stocking the 15 euro ones which arent genuinely for the model but last as long. They expand and contrac alot with the weather so one goes through quite a few during the summer. Anyway does anyone know where I could find lawnmoer belts? Any hardware stores in the west or online????

Is it just a normal V belt. Reason I ask is my mower uses a double V belt ( Belt looks like <> ) and these are hard to find other than manufacturers original belt.

Standard (non genuine) belts can be obtained cheaply in Genfitt, Kiltimagh Co. Mayo if you know the length of the belt and the width. 094 9381377.

except without the indentations on the inside o the belt. Just plain.

LOL shorty. As well as being circular, it probably is V shaped in cross section. A flat belt would just slip and not pass the power from the engine to the blades. Have you got one to measure? Best if you were to bring one to the guys I mentioned. They should be able to sort out a replacement.

yup, just that the one well bring will be a bit loose, hencethe reason we need a nw one, so justr a bitt smaller well need, will call him

Great, got belt, 4 euro, lol, hilarious considering Coens in Kiltimagh wanted me to pay 50 euro for the genuine belt. Thanks again.
