Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Doesn't look like it, you will probably waiting till the other side of summer for a price drop.

    Not due to the PS3 but in american at least because of teh new elite package there will be price cuts.

    have to say, I'm not at all impressed with the elite package. Didn't switch to 65nm cooler/quieter technology, HDMI is 1.2, not 1.3. A bigger hard drive is good, if you use live a lot, but I think the pricing on the hard drives is an example of Microsoft gouging customers - way too expensive.

    In relation to the price dropping, I don't think MS need to drop yet, since the PS3 is still very expensive, and PS3 will not drop until Sony recoup some of their development costs.

    Elite model costs more than Premium, and last time i looked it wasn't being released outside of North America anyway.


    Price of PS3 will make 360 look like a relatively good deal to many too.

    In short, price is unlikely to move.

    Agreed!

    Can't believe the Elite won't ship with the 65nm processor. What are Microsoft playing at. The processor will be out shortly after the Elite.

    Can't wait for the Super Elite II - Champion Edition Turbo.... guaranteed to have nearly everything the Elite should have had. :rolleyes:
