Getting new remote for car?

I've only got one remote for the alarm on my car, and i'm pretty screwed if i lose it...anyone know if its easy to get your hands on another one? The company i bought the car from have closed so i'll have to go directly to the maker of the alarm (Cobra i think) - anyone had to do this before?
