I've talked to Kdjac lads and we've agreed on another Fantasy Football league for Boards in conjunction with www.irishgamer.ie.

Because this league will run longer, there'll be 5 games for the winner for the platform of their choice. The games, as per last time, will be chosen from a list we have.

As well as this, we're looking into also awarding the top manager each month. That will keep people who aren't doing well interested because, even if your team does useless one month, they could be near the top for the next month. That prize could be a game each month but we're still looking into it. This will be confirmed soon.

For now the league code is 55593-13032. Site is fantasy.premierleague.com.

The good news for people as well is that, even though I'm entering, this means I can't win!

You can use your old details from before. You don't need to register again. Just pick a new team.

Anyone else finding it alot harder this year to pick a decent team compared to other years?? So many players have increased in value its almost impossible to pick a balanced squad whilst including some of the requirements, Henry, Super Frank Lamp etc..

anyone making hots tips for this yr??

Joined the Irish Gamer league...that's a lot of teams!
I'm happy with my team, although I do have 3 Premiership newbies...can't really tell how a player is going to adapt.

Hyypia tends to get rested more though so I'm sticking with Caradona. Duff is a steal at 8.5 million.

Changes to game this year

Transfer wild card
Once a season you can use a transfer wild card. All transfers made in the Gameweek your wild card is played will be without points deduction. You can read more about transfers in the help pages.

New assist definition
Assists will be given for own goals. No second assists will be given. You can find the new assist definition in the help pages.

Points scoring changes
If a player receives a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team. You can see all the scoring details in the help pages.

Watchlist now available from transfers
When making transfers, any players you've added to your watchlist can easily be viewed by selecting them as a filter from the drop-down box.

More private leagues
Each team can now be in up to 10 private leagues.

More statistics
We've added clean sheets, price falls and the number of times a player has been transferred in the Gameweek to the player statistics. The amount of time used to calculate form has been increased to 30 days.

On the statistics page you can now compare multiple statistics categories on the same screen

Pighead is in. Super Goalkeeper, Rock Solid Defence, Midfield Oozing Creativity And Goals, Strikeforce To Send A Shiver Down Lemlins Spine.

Don't worry Lemlin, Pigheads only gonna play at 70% of his capabilities. If i played at 100% I'd probably be banned from playing next year to give everybody a chance of glory. The aim is to win by 50 to hundred points.

The Challenge has yet to be thought of, but it shall be forthcoming before the start of the season.
