    Hi

Does anybody else here have fatfingers? and keep having typo's? Is it possible that a spellchecker could be incorporated into the forum when posting a new thread or when replying to one?

some of the ones that I have come across and am looking at implementing on some sites of my own are:

    spellerpages

    pungo-spell

    jacuba

I am just throwing it out as an idea that might help some people and reduce the irritation that is typo's.

Anybody else reckon this is a good idea?

firefox has an integrated spellchecker for those that care. It's not really that important and the fancy new servers make boards much nicer to use so I'm not for putting extra stress on them :)

I'm not sure about everyone else, but i use an internet explorer based browser and have a spell checker in the forum reply

I presume this is a feature of vBulletin that boards uses. Uses the plugin from iespell.com . Firefox probably has some spell check plugin available too

I'd like to see automatic spell checking on posts. This kind of thing

makes me want to punch the monitor.

    A spellchecker won't fix these:

    Etc., etc.

Or "She sat on a thorn for 63 years." ;)

Indeed, very little can be done with posters confusing 'their' and 'there'.

Not a sign of a full stop. It's like one long sentence.

    Firefox FTW.
